Hey Saints
I am so late on this but I had the pleasure of meeting two super talented women a couple of weeks ago. First and foremost I finally got an opportunity to meet Lina. You might remember a past post where I declared her as my new favorite singer...Well it is now official. Lina is just the sweetest and coolest person. We got a chance to talk breifly about the state of alternative indie soul. She is the real deal guys. I am definitely going to feature her on the relaunch of indiesoul.com
The second diva was the one and only Cindy Lauper. Ok I grew up listening to all of her music so it was really cool to meet her and tell her how I feel about her music. She is so damn cool it's not even funny and for anyone that didn't know....Cindy sounds as great as ever. She did a jam session with the band at Coda and she turned it out yall... I will continue to keep you guys posted from the field.
